walking through the neighborhood with it, they stopped their patrol car ducked behind the door and demanded he put it down. >> he began to turn toward his right in the direction of the deputy. he moved the gun toward the deputy and he was fearful he would be shot. >> reporter: one of the deputies shot cruz. a hand gun was found on his waist band. >> everybody loses in this situation. it is tragic. >> reporter: at one point when mourners were out here they started chanting justice for cruz. obviously tensions are high

workers were hit and killed over the weekend. jeff, do we know what caused the fire? >> reporter: katherine, it is a piece of equipment called a semiconductor. it is under the car of the train, and it transfers energy on to the train to allow it to go down to the tracks. look at the cell phone video from this passenger. firefighters were quick to put it out. the fire was located underneath one of the middle cars, and the smoke from that fire billowed into the passenger compartments as the train pulled into the
